Ron Largent – “The Travel Professor”
Professional International Travel Consultant, Broker, Agent, Historian, Speaker

Ron (his friends call him Ronnie) has over 50 years’ experience as a worldwide “passion traveler”.  During that time he has either worked, lived, or visited 53 countries. Following two different student exchange programs through UCLA in India and Germany he was an Air Force officer serving in England and Europe.

Later, he owned a real estate company; and was a Convention motivational speaker, and college business professor. He was also an international donor development manager, conducting donor project visits world-wide, then follow up donor presentations though out the United States and Canada. His “passion” for traveling kept him and his wife on the go with worldwide vacations on their own, or on Cruise Ships, where he developed a strong interest in Cruise Ship speaking.

Ron retired from active real estate in 2016, and is currently a travel speaker, motivational speaker (travel and fitness), and international travel consultant advisor. His specialty is speaking presentations to civic organizations, churches, interest groups, and colleges. Ron contrasts lifestyles, emphasizes the historical changes in the countries, and points out unique characteristics in the geographical areas that he speaks about. He relates to current world conditions, and does this with both humor and audience engagement. He speaks on Europe, Asia, India, the Middle East and South America. He also represents a number of international travel companies that offer Special Programs for the discerning traveler, including unique opportunities in sports, culture, and entertainment.

Ron graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara; attended the Air Command & Staff College and the Air War University. He has also completed post-graduate work at Pepperdine University Law School and was a licensed real estate and mortgage broker in California, Virginia, Ohio, Arizona, and Texas.
